Financial Aid applications may be submitted after February 1st.
Albany Christian School offers Financial Aid for grades K-8. Our FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment service conducts the financial need analysis for all ACS Financial Aid applicants. The FACTS analysis is then filtered through the ACS Scholarship Team for a second review, so they can consider individual ACS family situations. Financial Aid awards are then determined on a standardized scale with those individual family situations considered. As a general guideline, awards will not exceed 50% of the tuition cost. (Financial Aid does not cover Registration fees.)
Service Participation Requirement:
The Financial Aid that ACS offers to families is one way ACS attempts to partner with parents to deepen our commitment to one another. As ACS demonstrates a partnership-commitment to families by the awarding of Financial Aid funds, ACS in turn, asks Financial Aid recipients to demonstrate their partnership-commitment to the school by contributing 15 hours of service to the school per year.
Financial Aid service hours are tracked in your FACTS Family Portal/Family/Service Hours window. In order to be considered eligible to apply for Financial Aid for any following year of enrollment, families must have 15 hours of service logged in to their FACTS Family Portal/Family/Service Hours window. Financial Aid Application Process:
Before applying for Financial Aid through FACTS, families must first complete the Enrollment Process:
1.Submit an Application, 2.Complete a Student Assessment, 3.Submit an Enrollment Packet including the Enrollment Fee and a signed Tuition Contract. (If enrollment is contingent upon Financial Aid that is not awarded, ACS Enrollment Fee is refundable.)
After the Enrollment Process is complete...
Login to your FACTS Family Portal, click on the Financial Tab and the Apply for Grant & Aid link.
(You will need to setup account credentials the first time you access the FACTS Grant & Aid area.)
A $35 non-refundable processing fee will be charged by FACTS for each family that submits the Financial Aid Application.
Once an online Financial Aid application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:
All supporting documentation can be uploaded in PDF format online. Documentation can also be faxed to 1-866-315-9264 or mailed to the address below. Please be sure to include the applicant ID, which you will receive during the online application process, on all faxed or mailed correspondence.
